The Revox® drive concept combines the energy efficiency of mechanical direct drive with the flexibility of hydraulic drive technology. A power-split gearbox forms the core of the system, with a hydraulic motor providing controlled acceleration during start-up.

Once the machine has reached operating speed, the system transitions to mechanical direct drive for efficient continuous operation. The concept provides smooth and controlled acceleration of high rotational masses while avoiding the need for sensitive electronic control systems.

Revox®S

The Revox®S is a compact gearbox solution designed for the controlled start-up of high rotational masses, particularly in shredding applications.

During start-up, torque is transmitted through a robust wet-running clutch, allowing the machine to accelerate smoothly. Once operating speed is reached, the mechanical direct drive provides an energy-efficient solution for continuous operation.
