Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Hotjar to help us understand how visitors use our site and to improve the overall website experience. We may also use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to better understand engagement from LinkedIn. We do not currently use tools such as the Meta Pixel or a cookie consent banner, though this may change in the future.
Third Party Platforms
Our website links to our LinkedIn page. We do not currently link to or embed other social media platforms, maps, videos, or third-party tools.
Customer and Supplier Data
Where customer or supplier contact information is collected through normal business operations, DESCH may store business contact details such as names, company names, job titles, business email addresses, telephone numbers, and business addresses.
This information is used to establish and maintain business relationships, respond to inquiries, process orders and quotations, provide customer service and technical support, manage supplier relationships, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
Customer and supplier information may be shared with authorized DESCH personnel, affiliated group companies where necessary for business operations, trusted service providers acting on DESCH’s behalf, shipping and logistics partners to fulfill orders or services, and government authorities or regulatory bodies where required by applicable law.
Business records are retained for seven (7) years.
QR Code Processing
DESCH uses dynamic QR codes on our brochures and on repaired products. When a QR code on a repaired product is scanned, it directs the user to the appropriate service manager’s contact information so that servicing can be arranged. QR codes on brochures direct users to specific product information and to our website.
We do not collect GPS location data through these QR codes. We may collect approximate, IP-based location data, along with the QR code’s own identifier (not the scanning device’s serial number), to track QR code usage, analyze engagement, measure campaign effectiveness, and improve our digital experiences.

DESCH does not automatically subscribe visitors to marketing communications or newsletters; if you have any concerns about communications you have received from us, please reach out using the same email address
